This week I learned about mixtures and solutions in science. I learned about salts. There are a lot of different kinds. When you mix an acid and a base you get a salt.
In government I read about bureaucracy and bureaucrats. Bureaucracy is not one of the main branches of government, it is the people who work in government but aren't elected by the people.
In math the topics I covered this week were systems of equations. This is mostly a review. The other stuff was also mostly review, including power rules for exponents and getting into factoring quadratic polynomials.
On Friday I went with my friend Heber to a bike skills track up Provo Canyon. It was fun because we got the whole track to ourselves because no one else was there. It isn't that long of a track, maybe a quarter mile. It is a bunch of dirt ramps and jumps and berms. We were there for about two and a half hours. I took my GoPro so I could get some video footage to work on editing.
